This Saturday, April 2nd, is the return of Babylon Little League!  We’ll kick things off with our annual parade.  With the construction on Locust Avenue, we have changed the route of the parade this year.

All players and coaches should be lined up, in uniform, at the Fire Department parking lot by 9:45 Saturday morning. (We recommend parking at the Locust parking lot and walking to the fire department.) Families are welcome to march with the teams or stand along the route as spectators.

Parade line-up order:
⚾ Elected officials and other VIP’s

⚾ Babylon Senior Baseball NYS champion team

⚾ Tee-ball

⚾ Farms Baseball and Softball

⚾ Minors Baseball and Softball

⚾ Majors Baseball and Softball

Upon arrival at the Locust South field, all players and coaches will file onto the outfield grass via the center field gate. We’ll have a brief opening ceremony and the first games of the season will start promptly at noon, the snack stand will be open and we’ll be in full swing with games all day!

We will also be holding a food drive at the start of the parade, in conjunction with the Babylon Fire Department and Ancient Order of Hibernians.  Please bring a non-perishable item with you when you arrive to help feed those in need.
