Officer Peter Figoski Memorial Game and Scholarships


Peter Figoski, a fallen hero of the NYPD, exemplified the spirit of the Little League and our community with his acts of kindness and consideration toward all. A former Babylon Village resident, he was the proud father of four girls in the Babylon schools and a man who parents and children gravitated toward.

We are honored to continue recognizing the legacy of Peter Figoski through our Figoski Memorial Softball Game, which benefits the Figoski Memorial Scholarships.

Figoski Memorial Scholarships

We are honored to continue recognizing the legacy of Peter Figoski by awarding annual scholarships to graduating seniors who represent the spirit of Little League®, Peter Figoski, and our community.

Individuals must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicant must have participated in Babylon Little League for a minimum of three years to be considered.
  • Applicant must be attending a higher education or trade school in the Fall following graduation.

Applications for the scholarship are open in March and April. Please check our homepage and social media for details.
